I love numbers.

When neat and ordered as in geometry

Or money amounts and dates in history

Or when there’s a satisfying symm-etry

About a book-keeping double ent-ery

Big or small or just lucky some...

I love letters.

Letters can be a bit of a scrabble

Or flow into words like a brook does babble

Or arranged neatly lined like us poets do dabble
Rapid sentences into eloquent gabble

And rhymes at best are just for fun...

I love symbols.

Especially when they clash together

With a tshssstsh..clang-ang-ang-ang-ang...
